About Fujian-OI
Established in September 2024, Fujian-OI is a newly established research institution dedicated to pioneering innovation in marine science and technology. It was co-designed and jointly initiated by Xiamen University and the Third Institute of Oceanography, MNR, China. Headquartered in Xiamen, China, Fujian-OI convenes world-class scientists and visionary leaders across diverse disciplines to champion a sustainable and thriving maritime future.
Our mission is centered on fostering innovation at the critical intersection of science, technology, governance, and finance. 关于鹭江创新实验室
鹭江创新实验室（福建省海洋科学与技术创新实验室，以下简称“实验室”）于2024年9月经福建省委、省政府批准成立；2025年1月审批设立为事业单位法人、正式挂牌建设。实验室由厦门市人民政府举办，依托厦门大学和自然资源部第三海洋研究所，并协同省内外优势涉海科技领军企业、科研机构等共同建设，是具备独立法人资格的新型研发机构。
实验室秉持“顶天立地”的规划理念，在服务国家战略的同时，面向区域发展和产业应用需求，着力构建集人才、科技、产业、资本“四位一体”的海洋科技创新生态系统，打造支撑区域发展和服务国家重大需求的战略科技力量，服务全球海洋发展目标。
